FDACS Employment Opportunities
FDACS is proud to provide veterans preference for job applicants. We encourage veterans to review the listings on our Employment Opportunities page and apply to any jobs that they are interested in.
Intern Program
The FDACS Intern Program is open to interested students enrolled in an applicable undergraduate program of study with an accredited educational institution. Students seeking academic credit during the fall, spring or summer term should apply for an unpaid internship. Students must be able to intern a minimum of 20 hours per week, or for a period as prescribed by the college or school. The number and locations of internship opportunities available each term is based on agency need and opportunity. Interested students are directed to submit their resume to our Recruitment Section at Careers@FDACS.gov.
Dietetic Internship Program
FDACS’s Dietetic Internship Program is a nine-month program that runs from September through May and accepts two students per year. The mission of the Dietetic Internship Program is to educate and prepare future nutrition professionals to apply innovative approaches that improve the quality of school meals and impact the current and long-term nutritional status of children. Interested veteran applicants are advised to go to our Dietetic Internship Program webpage for instructions on how to apply.
