Veteran of the Month Initiative

Launched in March 2019, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried’s Veteran of the Month initiative recognizes veterans who have excelled in noteworthy service to fellow Floridians. The award is a way to highlight the contributions that men and women in uniform have made to our state.

These veterans are typically highlighted at the Florida Cabinet meetings in the Florida Capitol in Tallahassee.
