Citrus Budwood Program
The citrus budwood program was established in 1953 and became mandatory for all propagation of citrus in 1997. The objective of this program is to assist growers and nurserymen in the production of horticulturally superior citrus nursery stock that is believed to be free of virus and other graft-transmissible diseases.
